Bogoda Wooden Bridge

This is a well known only bridge with wooden roof in Sri Lanka constructed in the Kandian Era and situated along with the ancient Bogoda temple with nice frescoes and a cave done in the Era of king Walagamba. This bridge has created by putting large three logs across the Gallanda oya. Constructing without using single nail is the specialty of this creation. This place can be reached by having a turn from Hali- Ela junction in Badulla Colombo Road and by travelling 8 km on Galauda road and taking a turn from Jagulla junction and again travelling 3 km from there.
